Remembering the Ashram

The month I’ve spent in Shri Kali Ashram was extremely fruitful. I learned a few useful yoga techniques (the powerful and relaxing Tridosha Balancing Asana Series, an unusual style of performing Standing Asana Series and Surya Namaskar, some subtleties of pranayama and bandhas), mastered Ayurvedic Walking Massage, recited mantras, danced to bhajans, participated in weekly Kali pujas, got experience in yoga teaching and received my RYS 200 certificate. In my extracurricular time, I perfected my massage skills giving Thai massage to beautiful yoginis. I took almost no photos all that time (the Agonda series is a day-off exception) – first, it was not allowed and, second, I just didn’t feel like it.
