Beardman Jars

“These vessels, known as Beardman jars, received its name from its seal, which depicts a bearded man embossed on the exterior surface. Beardman jars could be dated to the period between 16th and 18th century CE. The earliest Beardman jars were produced in Rhineland of Germany. These vessels were traded by the Dutch and British in the Indian Ocean.”
